Met-L-Flex

Met-L-Flex Mounts are named to describe the type of material (typically Stainless Steel) used to make the resilient element component of the mount. Metal Mesh Mounts are typically used for vibration isolation applications although some will provide limited to excellent shock protection for a given installation. Metal Mesh Mounts find the most use in harsh or extreme service environments; i.e., temperature and chemical. These mounts are integrally fail-safe ensuring positive capture of the payload in the unlikely event of failure of the resilient element. Most metal mesh mounts compress the resilient element in use no matter what the axis of input and perform best when supporting the primary static load axially through the mount.
