Low Profile Center Plate
Low Profile Center Plate Mounts are named to describe the low installation profile potential of the mount and the center of the mount location of the structural interface mounting plate. Low profile mounts are typically used for vibration isolation applications. Although some will provide limited shock protection, the low deflection capability of these mounts makes them inefficient for most high degree of shock attenuation applications. A number of these mounts are integrally fail-safe while some require a Hutchinson snubbing or back-up washer to ensure positive capture of the payload in the unlikely event of failure of the resilient element. Although most of these mounts are all attitude, Hutchinson Low Profile Center Plate Mounts perform best when supporting the primary static load axially through the mount.
